Grow the Frequency of Visions & Minister the Love of Jesus

During our last open house class connects we spoke about the mastering your craft as one called to the prophetic. Specifically, mastering the 10 signs of identifying the voice of God. The biggest feedback I received from everyone who attended was the amazement of just how easy hearing the voice of God is!

You see, hearing the voice of God comes very naturally to the prophet. As a prophet, you are uniquely inclined to the voice of Jesus, and because of this, you are also aware of His heart in most matters.

This can bring a lot of hurt and rejection at times because you are like a child who have brought up their whole life being taught and shown irrefutable proof that unicorns exist. You whole a pure innocence of how easy it is to believe that Jesus wants to build an intimate relationship with you and everyone else. Now, to anyone else this sounds like pure fantasy, and unbelievable truth because they do not have this innate ability to automatically hear God’s voice without even trying.

Today, I want to tell you about another way of hearing the voice of God that is actually very easy, and something anyone can do - Hearing God through Visions! By the end of this blog, not only will you be flowing in visions, but you will also be able to teach to your children and anyone you meet on the street!

WHAT IS A VISION?

Putting it very simply, a vision is a picture from God expressed through your spirit. It is truly as simple as that. There is no complicated explanation or deep doctrinal belief. Imagine God taking a picture of something and then uploading that picture to your mind using a data stream or cloud (your spirit) as His method of upload.

You just have to accept that data transfer and voila! the picture pops up on your device’s screen!

In fact, visions are so easy, the people who too get and flow in visions the most are usually children because they do not overthink the whole data stream thing. They just accept the picture and express it aloud without trying to deeply interpret its meaning or why Jesus used pink rather than a purple hue for that grapevine.

Another interesting fact about visions is that you can get them all the time. The ability to hear God through visions is not a rare thing, or more precisely, should not be a rare occasion, but we will get to that in a moment.

You see, most people expect a 4k hd image when you talk about visions. Something majestic, supernatural, and perhaps even angelic. An experience that never leaves you. However, a vision is truly just an impression on your spirit. It could even be an outline or silhouette of something at first.

Genesis 15:1: “After these things the word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision, saying, “Do not be afraid, Abram. I am your shield, your exceedingly great reward.”"

GROW YOUR VISION FREQUENCY AND MINISTER THE LOVE OF JESUS

• Step one, take some time to empty your mind. You can do this by speaking in tongues for a bit to tap into your spirit and cut through your mind

• Step two, pay attention to the impressions you are getting in your spirit, let them wash over you and pick out the one that repeats itself

• Step three, focus on that impression and allow the Lord to reveal the image to you bit by bit - continue to speak in tongues while you do this

• Step four, share the visions aloud either as a word of prophecy or as is to the person you are praying for

• Step five, practice this technique at least once to twice a day

These steps can be applied to any ministry situation, prayer time or even speaking engagement. Especially if you are prophetic, you will get visions with everyone you talk to because your spirit is very active.

If you are struggling to receive a vision there are a couple of things you need to identify and try.

1. A spiritual blockage: this could be caused by a number of things such as a contamination in your spirit from a false doctrine, impartation, partaking in too much of the flesh (such as movies, tv, and etc) or even a open door you may have through sin.
   
   Overcoming this problem is a simple case of James 4:5, submit yourself to the Lord, ask for forgiveness for that particular sin or in receiving something not from His and then take back any license you gave the enemy.

2. Get Spirit Filled: This one sounds silly, but I once had a woman call in because she could not speak in tongues or get visions not matter how hard she tried. After much prayer and decreeing I sent her over to my sister, Pastor Jessica Toach of our Fivefold Ministry Training School for training to develop this skill. Less than 24hr later she was getting visions and speaking in tongues like no one else - turned out she had never been spirit filled and one quick prayer had sorted the issue!
   
   If you are not spirit filled or are not sure, it is worth getting some prayer in this department.

3. Not What You’re Expecting: Perhaps you are getting visions, but they are just not what you are expecting, if this is the case some extra training or help may be needed. If you did used to receive visions and they suddenly stopped, it is also possible you have matured or mastered hearing God in that way and now He has started speaking to you in another one of the eight ways to hear His voice.
